Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”

Wang Water Tai Chi mimics the quality and nature of water and the entire set of Tai Chi movements are like the movements of water in nature- rolling waves and flowing currents, up and down. Wang Water Tai Chi excels in combining “Chuan & Skill (拳技合一)“ and ”Chuan & Healing(拳療合一)“ through unique twisting and stretching tendons and turning bones(伸筋転骨,对拉拔長).
Master explained movement details and demonstrated how to apply the techniques.

Master Lam taught us how to use an invisible center line to balance Ying and Yang. Make yourself soft and empty like the air, Thus, you can accommodate any shapes.
Master Lam demonstrated how to use the invisible center stability line to bounce off attack.
The important things are
stretching out ligaments and moving arm along a curve line, using heap joint to guide your arms, Your arm should be as soft as a a piece of willow leaf.
When your arm touches solid object, you dance your arm like water curving around and penetrating forward. You can sense opponent's weak spot. Instantly, you can draw power from ground and attack
Master Lam keeps his mind relaxed and moves passively in natural rhythm. The opponent thus finds no spot to apply his force and eventually falls out of balance.
